Javier Jaguar Gutierrez
On February 8, 2020, our world lost a remarkable soldier – Sgt. 1st Class Javier Jaguar Gutierrez, as he was tragically killed in Afghanistan. But more than the heroic Green Beret that he will always be remembered as, he was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, and a warrior for Jesus. I didn’t have the honor of knowing Jag personally; but I have known his parents for many years. I have been able to witness their heartache and bittersweet acceptance that he is no longer here on Earth, but he is in heaven awaiting their reunion. I have cried many tears as I have read their posts and shared photos and stories about Jag’s life. I wanted to expand the audience of people who would get to know Jag, even though he is gone. I wanted people to be inspired and know that even in a loss as tragic as this one, and even as heartbroken as his family will always be, they have still found ways to Find Joy. They have been able to keep his memory alive as they share his life and faith with others. This page will solely be dedicated to helping them share Jag’s life and having his faith shared through the legacy he has left behind. This page is dedicated to Jag and his entire family.
